Të dashur miq dhe përkrahës,
Si ish-deputet republikan i Dhomës së Përfaqësuesve të SHBA-së dhe si President themelues i Ligës Qytetare Shqiptaro-Amerikane, dëshiroj të ndaj me ju besimin tim të sinqertë se është thelbësore që të mbështesim rizgjedhjen e Kryeministrit Albin Kurti më 9 shkurt 2025.
Sikur që theksoi Shirley Cloyes DioGuardi në artikullin e saj më të fundit, “Kryeministri Albin Kurti dhe presidentja Vjosa Osmani përfaqësojnë demokracinë”, dhe “qeveria aktuale ka treguar se po punon për të mbrojtur interesat e vendit dhe ka pasur forcën për t’u bërë ballë hapave që do të kishin copëtuar Kosovën në një kohë kur demokracia është në krizë në disa pjesë të Evropës Perëndimore dhe Lindore”.
Kryeministri Kurti dhe partia e tij në pushtet Vetvendosje kanë treguar se do të punojnë për forcimin e demokracisë në Kosovë dhe për arritjen e paqes dhe stabilitetit të qëndrueshëm në Evropën Juglindore. Gatishmëria e kryeministrit Kurti për t’u ulur në tryezën e bisedimeve me Serbinë vetëm pasi që Beogradi të njohë pavarësinë e Kosovës është thelbësore për arritjen e këtij rezultati. Përndryshe, Kosova e pavarur do të coptohet dhe do të dështojë pasi të ketë arritur aq shumë sukses që nga njohja e pavarësisë së vendit në shkurt të vitit 2008.
Mbi të gjitha, kryeministri Kurti ka treguar se Kosova vazhdon të jetë forca më properëndimore, prodemokratike dhe pro multietnike në zemër të Evropës Lindore.

Dear Friends and Supporters,
As a former Republican Member of the US House of Representatives and as founding President of the Albanian American Civic League, I want to share with you my heartfelt belief that it is essential to support the re-election of Prime Minister Albin Kurti on February 9, 2025.
As Shirley Cloyes DioGuardi stated in her most recent article, “Prime Minister Albin Kurti and President Vjosa Osmani represent democracy,” and “the current government has demonstrated that it is working to protect the interests of the country and has had the strength to stand up to steps that would carve up Kosova at a time when democracy is in crisis in parts of Western and Eastern Europe.”
Prime Minister Kurti and his ruling Vetvendosje party have shown that they will work to strengthen democracy in Kosova and to achieve lasting peace and stability in Southeast Europe. Prime Minister Kurti’s willingness to sit down at the negotiating table with Serbia only after Belgrade recognizes Kosova’s independence is essential to achieving this outcome. Otherwise, an independent Kosova will be carved up and fail after achieving so much success since the country’s independence was recognized in Febuary 2008.
Above all, Prime Minister Kurti has demonstrated that Kosova continues to be the most pro-Western, pro-democratic, and pro-multi-ethnic force in the heart of Eastern Europe.
